Veedersburg Clinic

Michael Meade, DVM

 Dr. Meade graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.  He joined WCVS at Veedersburg in May of 1977.  Dr. Meade belongs to the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the Society of Theriogenology, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Meade’s special interests include: beef cattle and swine herd health and production, canine artificial insemination and semen storage.  Dr. Meade raises Shorthorn cattle.

   

Dr. Hohenstein 

Michael Hohenstein, DVM

Dr. Hohenstein graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.  He joined WCVS at Veedersburg in June of 1994.  Dr. Hohenstein is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Hohenstein’s special interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, music and spending time with his wife, kids and church family.

   

Dr. Slaven 

Hilary Slaven, DVM

Dr. Slaven graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.  She joined WCVS at Veedersburg in June 2006. Dr. Slaven is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has special interest in small animal community practiceand internal medicine.  In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with family, friends, her labrador ("Hank") and her little black cat ("Stella").

   

Dr. Allio 

Jennifer Allio, DVM

Dr. Allio graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.  She started at our Veedersburg clinic in June 2012.  Dr. Allio is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.  She has a special interest in veterinary behavior and enjoys golf and running in her spare time.

   

Dr. Shelby Norris

Shelby Norris, DVM

Dr. Norris graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, after completing a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences at Purdue University.  Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery and bovine medicine and reproductive services.  In her free time, Dr. Norris enjoys watching football, gardening and spending time with her family, including her dogs Zingo and Iggy and her cat, Kiwi.
